‘Wren cottage’ – our beautiful 3 bed link detached cottage in the gorgeous village of Atcham. This has been our home since 2013 and we’re genuinely sad to leave! The cottage is situated in the idillic village of Atcham on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, which combines the tranquil rural lifestyle with excellent local amenities just 2 minutes down the road, and excellent transport links being 5 minutes from the M54. Atcham is a small community, with friendly neighbours, local events, and free access to Attingham Park for residents.

The cottage has a new kitchen diner, decking, a new oil boiler central heating system (installed 2014 and serviced yearly), a nicely sized conservatory that catches the morning sun, and a detached single garage. It also benefits from 80MB fibre broadband availability. The house is situated right next to St Eatas Church which is the heart of the community, and it is less than a minutes walk through the churchyard to reach the renowned Mytton & Mermaid pub which is fantastic for great food meals and lazy sunny afternoons by the river with a glass of wine! There are plenty of places to walk in the fields and lanes in every direction – as our dog will testify!
